Accordinf to reports, Saso Mijalkov, former chief of Macedonian counter-intelligence and close associate and a relative to the ex Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski, was arrested and taken into custody on 20 November on request of the special public prosecution. After Gruevski's escape to Hungary, upon having been sentenced to two years in prison, the Criminal Court in Skopje decided on custody as precaution for several close associates of Gruevski, who also are on trial for many criminal activities.
