L’immagine simbolo del Festival di Cannes 2018 è quella di «Il bandito delle undici» (Pierrot le fou), film francese del 1965 di Jean-Luc Godard con Jean-Paul Belmondo e Anna Karina. Un fotogramma di questa pellicola, in particolare la celebre scena del bacio tra i due protagonisti, è immortalato nel poster ufficiale della kermesse che si svolgerà dall’8 al 19 maggio. Lo scatto è opera di Georges Pierre, grande fotografo di scena che ha lavorato sui set di alcuni dei più grandi registi francesi della seconda metà del Novecento quali Jacques Rivette, Alain Resnais, Louis Malle e Bertrand Tavernier. La selezione del festival sarà annunciata oggi.
